Becoming a Culturally Humble Behavior Analyst


About this series

This small group, 6 week online training series will take a deep dive into culture and cultural humility from a behavior analytic perspective. The course is designed to actively engage and facilitate skill development in the areas of :

  • developing a better understanding of your identity and values as a behavior analyst
  • improving perspective taking skills
  • being able to identify privilege and how power plays a role in therapeutic relationships
  • cultivating the ability to listen to learn from others
  • developing committed actions to become culturally humble and curious

During this course you will be asked to complete homework and experiential activities outside of live sessions. Live sessions will require full participation in discussions and learning opportunities. A total of 6 Type II CEUs (1 Supervision and 1 Ethics) will be available in this course. Come prepared to get comfortable with being uncomfortable!
